Very cool to know and I'm happy this worked for you, But im guessing this trick works only on certain systems. After reading up on it and watching this, I tried this trick on my "Fat box" SCPH-30001R which is having the same issue, and it's unfortunately still making the small scratching noise followed by the disk read error. It reads all my other silver PS2 disks smoothly with no issues, only the blue ones have been giving me a hard time. Thank you for sharing though, this did help a lot! 👍
